Uniform

Glenunga International High School is a full uniform school. All students are required to maintain a high standard of neatness.  All items must be official Glenunga International High School wear as displayed and sold in the uniform shop and the Brandmode retail outlet:

Normal School Uniform Shop opening times during the school year at GIHS are:

Tuesdays:    8.15 am – 9.45 am
Wednesdays:     1.00 pm – 2.00 pm
Fridays:  1.00 pm – 2.00 pm

By purchasing or pre-ordering uniforms you will be given priority delivery of uniform items, accommodated with special sizing needs and be given the opportunity to change the sizing of any garment should it not be suitable at the time of collection. The PE / Sports top has the students’ ‘House’ colour on the left sleeve – AIR, EARTH, FIRE, WATER.  A students’ House is determined by the Home Group that the student is assigned.  The school will supply Brandmode at the end of the school year with student names, Home Group and House allocation.  Sizing and pre-ordering of the PE / Sports uniform will enable the items to be ready for the commencement of 2012.

Please note:

• School skirts must be no shorter than 10 centimetres above the top of the kneecap.
• Sport socks are not acceptable with the school uniform.  Knee high or calf high socks are required.
• Navy blue opaque tights for girls are only worn with the tartan skirt.
• Summer dresses are only worn in Term 1 and 4.
• Pleated tartan skirts can be worn all year.
