Sports

Welcome to Glenunga's Sports Department!

Glenunga International High School runs a diverse, comprehensive and challenging sporting program. These teams compete in the Southern Zone Secondary Schools Sports Association and the Sports Association For Adelaide Schools (formerly Independent Schools Sport Association) competitions as well as State Knockout [Secondary equivalent of SAPSASA].  The Sports Program here at Glenunga International caters for students of all skill levels to encourage maximum participation in a socially non threatening environment.

The school also enters in a large number of carnivals throughout the year. From Triathlon, Athletics, Swimming, Fencing, Football and Soccer to Ten-pin bowling, Rugby League, Beach Volleyball and Indoor Cricket thus the numerous opportunities for all students to become involved are obvious.

The regular teams we enter vary from year to year depending on the student's interest.  All Students at Glenunga International are actively encouraged to become involved in sports as there are many benefits of participating.  These include things such as widening social circles, being part of at team environment along with the obvious health benefits and acquiring new skills which they can take with them into adulthood.  Please see below for more information on the sports offered here at Glenunga International.
